Can you take it away?
All of this pain I feel inside
Please remove any emotion that interferes with Your peace in my life
Although I’ll never understand why pain is so necessary
But I know that I need to change my ways and carry
Everything to you in prayer
So I meet you half-way, will you be there?
Can you take it away?
I don’t care anymore what You need to do
Can I lift my burdens off my shoulders and lay them at Your feet?
I refuse to accept defeat
Dear Lord, please take all of this pain
Take it all away
Didn’t Jesus bear my pain?
Isn’t His loss of human life my gain?
Take it away
